Ingredients
- 1 kg potatoes, peeled and grated
- 250 ml cream
- 400 ml milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- nutmeg, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper
- 150 g grated cheese
Directions
Prepare: Peel the potatoes and grate thinly.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Cooking: Heat the cream, milk and butter. Add the potatoes, bring to the boil and season.
Cook until the potato starch comes out and binds the liquid.
Layering: In a baking dish, add the potato mixture alternately with the cheese and finish with the cheese
Bake: 30-40 minutes at 180°C until golden brown.
